Keith Rowe & Kjell Bjørgeengen 8:00 pm September 29 Harder Hall Alfred University, Alfred NY http://www.alfred.edu/nyscc/view.cfm?ID=6969 Rowe and Bjørgeengen will be artists in residence at the Institute for Electronic Arts of the NYSCC, Alfred University, Alfred, NY, September 26-30, 2011. Their work will include digital prints of scores as well as sound and performance work at the IEA facilities. Rowe and Bjørgeengen will be doing a live performance in the Harder Hall main lobby space on September 29 from around 8:00-9:00 pm involving use of their electronic instruments. This is a free and open event and all are welcome to attend.

    Grid Gallery, Sydney Monday 2nd August 2010 Launch of a public work and collaboration by  Kjell Bjørgeengen and Salvatore Panatteri (Australia) Since 2007 Kjell Bjørgeengen and Salvatore Panatteri have maintained a dialogue and collaborative experimental practice towards the notion of visual sound. The work for the Grid Gallery project will look at the nature of generative video sourced from pure audio frequencies. The resulting geometric telemetries in motion create an abstract paradigm approaching noise. This work is specifically designed with the absence of the audio source in space so as to create an open exploration of the video modality. Grid Gallery is both a virtual and physical gallery, dedicated to exhibiting digital works,  housed at the EnergyAustralia substation, North East corner of Sussex and Erskine Steets, Sydney.  gridgallery.com.au
